The NOSEN RNF series screw jack is a European‑style lifting device meticulously developed by Luosheng Company. It features a compact, robust rectangular design and its mounting dimensions are largely compatible with those of jacks commonly used in the European market, ensuring interchangeability. Its specific performance characteristics are outlined below:
1. The RNF series comprises 11 models, namely RNFO16, RNFO18, RNFO20, RNFO30, RNF040, RNFO55, RNFO60, RNFO70, RNFO80, RNF100, and RNF120. The RNG series includes 7 models: RNGO16, RNGO18, RNGO20, RNG030, RNG040, RNG055, and RNG060.
2. The transmission offers two speed ratios, corresponding to two distinct speeds: fast (denoted by the letter N) and slow (denoted by the letter L). At the N speed, for each revolution of the input worm gear, the lead screw advances 1 mm; at an input speed of 1500 RPM, the lead screw’s lifting speed is 1500 mm/min. At the L speed, each revolution of the input worm gear raises the lead screw by 0.25 mm; thus, at 1500 RPM, the lead screw’s lifting speed is 375 mm/min. If this product series is equipped with a ball screw, it is designated as RNG to distinguish it. The achievable speed with a ball screw depends on the worm‑gear ratio and the ball screw’s lead. For applications requiring higher lifting speeds, we recommend our RNS series, which can reach up to 12,000 mm/min. Please refer to the RNS series specifications.
3. Tolerance and Backlash
(1) The RNF hoist housing is rectangular in shape, with its top and bottom mounting surfaces as well as its left and right side faces all machined to flat, level surfaces, meeting installation standards.
(2) The axial clearance of a trapezoidal lead screw can reach 0.15 mm, with a radial clearance of 0.2 mm; the free clearance between the lead screw’s outer diameter and the guide sleeve’s inner diameter is 0.2 mm. For ball screws, the clearance depends on the precision grade of the screw used.
(3) Worm gear backlash:
Under rapid‑speed conditions, the backlash of the worm‑gear input shaft is ±3°.
Under slow-speed conditions, the backlash of the worm gear input shaft is ±5 degrees.
4. Lateral Forces: The lift is designed solely to handle vertical lifting loads acting perpendicular to the mounting surface of the base; under normal circumstances, it should not be subjected to lateral forces. Self-locking: The RNF series lifters feature a worm‑gear and worm‑screw design, providing self‑locking capability. This self‑locking performance is primarily influenced by the lead of the lifting screw, the gear ratio of the worm‑gear pair, lubrication conditions, as well as environmental factors such as operating temperature, vibration levels, and installation orientation. When using screws with large or double leads, or ball screws, the self‑locking capability under inertial loads is poor or virtually nonexistent. Therefore, in such cases, it is recommended to equip the unit with a brake‑enabled motor or install a brake on the input shaft.
6. Screw Anti-Rotation Device: When used as a standalone unit and the lifting load is supported without guide rails or guide posts, the lead screw may rotate without moving vertically—particularly under light loads, in which case it will simply spin in place, failing to achieve the intended lifting motion. In such cases, an anti-rotation device must be installed to prevent the screw from rotating while allowing only vertical linear motion.
