Space-saving, room-creating

　　Screw-type elevators feature a simple structure, few wear parts, and easy installation and maintenance, which significantly reduces long-term maintenance costs. They also offer high safety with no risk of free fall. The nut’s internal threads and the screw’s external threads engage in a positive interlocking relationship; even in the event of a power failure, the screw and nut self-lock, ensuring a high level of ride safety. These elevators place minimal demands on civil engineering—no pit excavation is required, only a 100 mm finished floor height is needed—and they do not require a dedicated machine room, with a minimum headroom of 2.5 meters at the top floor for installation. Moreover, their operation is remarkably smooth, and they can be installed without a dedicated hoistway. With as little as 2 square meters of clearance, a home elevator can be easily installed, providing convenient and comfortable access.

Drive Host

　　Aotu’s independently developed traction machine employs an AC synchronous motor to drive the nut, in conjunction with the screw lead, which significantly enhances the elevator’s start-up, acceleration, and braking performance, resulting in smoother and more seamless operation. This design also reduces noise pollution and vibration discomfort, thereby ensuring a comfortable and secure ride within the car.

Control System

　　The Aozhi control cabinet features intelligent vector control, paired with a bottomless external call system and an embedded operator panel, to ensure smooth elevator operation and precise leveling. It is equipped with a backup power supply that enables one-touch communication and automatic leveling in the event of elevator malfunctions or power outages.

Balance System

　　Aoshi elevators are equipped with counterweight systems that utilize either cement or steel plate counterweights, ensuring smooth car operation, reducing drive power consumption, and achieving energy savings and efficiency improvements. Solid guide rails paired with oil-free guide shoes deliver quiet, comfortable performance while minimizing noise pollution. The precise combination of wire ropes and wire rope sheaves is meticulously engineered in terms of strength and contact area, guaranteeing the tensile strength of the wire ropes while optimizing the contact surface between the ropes and sheaves to reduce friction-induced noise, resulting in smooth, seamless elevator operation.

Security System

Never Falls: The screw-and-nut design provides secure self-locking, eliminating both overtravel and descent. The male and female threads of the nut and screw engage in a complementary, interlocking configuration, ensuring that the screw and nut remain locked even in the event of a power failure.

Safety Nut: The safety nut serves as an additional safeguard in the event that the drive nut wears down. During normal elevator operation, the safety nut operates in a clearance mode relative to the screw. Only when the drive nut has undergone prolonged wear does the safety nut engage with the screw threads, sharing the load with the drive nut. At the same time, the safety nut triggers an alarm signal, causing the electrical control system to enter protection mode. In this mode, the elevator can only travel to the base station; upon reaching the base station, the elevator stops and prompts the operator to replace the drive unit. The safety nut thus provides robust assurance of elevator safety.

The safety gear is manufactured from alloy materials and, in the event of extremely serious malfunctions such as overspeed, complete slackening or breakage of the hoisting ropes, it will immediately bring the elevator car to an emergency stop and clamp it firmly against the guide rails to prevent it from falling. It plays a critically important protective role in ensuring the safe operation of the elevator. Although the probability of such a failure occurring is only one in ten million, every possible measure is taken to achieve the highest level of elevator safety.

The emergency power supply is activated automatically when the external power supply fails or when a system malfunction caused by interference traps passengers inside the elevator car. In such cases, the elevator switches to the backup power and backup drive system, performs an automatic leveling operation to open the doors, and safely evacuates the trapped passengers, thereby ensuring their safety.
